Excercises for Golf Fitness

OK so you’re ready to get out onto the Golf course and show the world you’re the next Tiger Woods . For this you’ll be wanting the perfect golf swing. There are several ways you need to assess yourself, several strengths you’ll want to bring forth to get the most out of your game .

Firstly , we need to think about developing your range of motion, muscle strength, proper balance, endurance, aerobic capacity, and core strength, . You’ll need to be strong , have lots of staying power and be flexible to hone better golf strokes and get round the course in as few shots as possible.

Any round of golf you play , you’ll spend hours repeatedly swinging and testing your muscles . As you’ll know, your golf swing is central to your skill level and muscle or back pain can and does adversely affect your swing.

To avoid this it is expedient to carry out a golf-specific flexibility regime. Some things to bear in mind before we get going are : Carry out the program at least four days a week; excercise your golf fitness regime for 10-15 minutes per session; pay strict attention to any techniques you study and – most significantly – always be sure that you are in good health when you begin any excercise regime and consult your doctor before embarking on any new excercise.

The   shoulders, lower back and hamstrings can often be problem areas for the amateur golfer . Muscle tension in these areas often event in the golfer trying to compensate within their golf swing. Therefore it is clear that if we can tackle these problem areas, we’ll be on the road to a perfect golf swing before we know it!

Regular repetition of our excercises will – improve your muscles good habits. After starting to regularly excercise you’ll be loosening your hips, back and shoulders you’ll be allowing those all important muscles to act in the ways most helpful to perfecting your golf swing .
